RED GIANT PROJECT
Fuses original electronic production with live instrumentation, soul, blues, world funk and lyrical content that is thought provoking and playful.
Producer Matt Madonna uses a deep and complex sound design to highlight a unique combination of players that make up Red Giant Project. The juxtaposition of vocalists Shane Hall(also on guitar) and Burkey combine to create a haunting yet soulful layer that weaves throughout the music, never distracting from the full intention of the production. Add in multi instrumentalist Tah Rei (Baritone & Soprano Sax, Flute, Xaphoon, Theremin, Bass Clarinet and Percussion) and John Avery on Sax, you get a powerful sound that is mature and yet refreshingly new.
The debut album features Karl Denson (Rolling Stones, Greyboy AllStars) on sax and flute, Mitchy Slick, Tre Aces and LYNX.
FUNGINEERS
A super group of musical magical weirdoes that make life more fun by creating fantastically colorful music, videos, live shows, clothing, toys and more. They bring all their flavors out to shine in their unusual live performance, a fresh mix of original tracks, live looping beatboxing, interactive improv, freestyle songs, crazy visuals, costumed choreography, delivered by an explosive cast of crazy characters. It’s a full sensory adventure that is silly, sexy and surreal.
Led by Paragon the CyberUnicornTron (part robot-monkey, part unicorn, beatboxing DJ), along with MC’s Lil Dino, Doctah AquaSocktaPuss, Flavatar, plus an always-expanding cast of Fun friends and guests galore managed by the esteemed Janitor-Manager, Kyrian Gineerian. The synergy of this playful posse offer up an innovative invitation into fresh realms of play and possibility through music, dance and more… It’s a kids show for adults, an adult show kids love, a teenage dream come true, and a grandparent’s weird and wonderful Saturday night out.
DANNI G
A Venezuelan transplant now living in Los Angeles, Ca. Started his music career in New York City in 2006 at the Dub Spot DJ/Production Academy. His unique sound includes a wide range of original music, remixes of Afro, Dancehall, hip hop, Latin and new forward thinking genres. Some of his most notable festival plays include: SHAMBALA (CANADA), LIGHTING IN A BOTTLE (CA), ENVISION(Costa Rica), BURNING MAN, MOMENTUM CREW (NICARAGUA), GENIUS LOCI (MEXICO) & UNLEASH(WORLD WIDE). After a decade in the underground music scene in Los Angeles, Danni G has gathered a unique following that has gained him weekly residencies at some of the most sought after electronic music events
around Southern California. His mission as a producer is to keep the dance floor
moving by connecting with the audience to bring us all together in an unpredictable musical journey.
